List prices, manufacturer self-pay programs, insurance coverage and price changes over time, by market. In the United States, few patients pay list price: manufacturer self-pay prices sit roughly 55% to 90% below it, and Medicare began covering weight-management use in July 2026.

Cash prices are available direct from the manufacturer (LillyDirect, NovoCare) and on TrumpRx.gov. Insured prices depend on the plan; many employers still exclude weight-loss drugs.

Converted at about £1 = $1.34 and $1 = ₹93.5 (April 2026 averages). India shows generic semaglutide; branded Wegovy costs more there. US cash prices are the manufacturer self-pay ranges (NovoCare and LillyDirect). Brazil and China are converted at about $1 = R$5.21 and $1 = ¥6.70 (October 2026). UK pill prices are private top-dose prices: the Wegovy pill 25 mg ranges from about £170 to £269 across providers, and Foundayo is shown at £179, the advertised top-dose price of one UK provider, as Eli Lilly had not confirmed a UK list price.

Prices outside the US are often lower because governments negotiate them, but public systems in Europe rarely pay for weight-loss use. In September 2025 Eli Lilly raised the UK list price of Mounjaro by 170% at the top dose, citing pressure to align prices across rich countries. See the patent map for where generics are allowed.
